I had great experiences with buying cars from Hawthorne Chevrolet - the cars were delivered on time, as ordered, and the staff could not have been more helpful. I am in the transportation business and I buy about 50 cars a year and I would defiantly recommend this dealership to anyone purchasing a new vehicle. I purchase through my leasing vendor Titus Leasing and we are set to buy more cars early into 2012!

Bill Fellbaum went over and beyond for me to get me my Chevrolet and truly cared about customer happiness and satisfaction with my purchase. Would do business with this dealership and Bill again! I never have seen a car dealer put so much genuine effort for a customer like he has.

William was able to answer all my questions and was willing to work around my budget. He introduced me to Steven Kochan (service consultant)who was very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this dealership to my family and friends.

Jimmy is a long time acquaintance of mine. I have been buying cars from him for over 20 years. He is a very professional and knowledgeable person at what he does. I would recommend anybody who is in need of a used or new car to go see him at Hawthorne Chevy.

Jim Petrucci worked hard to locate 4 particular trucks I needed after build out had occurred. He located them, got them to his dealer and helped get them to the warehouse for us. He was eager to help and flexible. A true professional.

My experience at Hawthorne Chevrolet was a very positive one. Joey G made us very comfortable and did everything he could to help our decision process. When we did decide, that very sane day he completed all the necessary paperwork, like calling our insurance company, and checking to see if we had any GM points. Sherry and Jim had everything ready when I walked in the door because I had called first. When I called, I asked if they could give me the deal that I needed and they came through with every last detail. I would highly recommend Hawthorne Chevrolet to any future car buyers. I have not dealt with the service dept yet so I hope they are just as good!

We just recently leased an Equinox from Hawthorne Chevrolet. This is the seventh vehicle we have leased and/or purchased from Hawthorne Chevrolet and each time our salesman was JR Gray. We won’t have it any other way. JR is considerate, helpful, and informative and we feel he is out to help us get what we both want—a fair deal.

When it is time for out eighth Chevy there is no doubt we will contact JR Gray at Hawthorne Chevrolet.

My name is Janet Iannelli and I just purchased a 2012 Chevy Equinox from Hawthorne Chevrolet in Hawthorne, N.J. I was very pleased with the entire experience. I have had years of driving many cars, but Chevy is the name that always comes to mind. A young man by the name of Tyler Yaccarino came with me to assist in my purchase and help me through the process. Both Cheri and JR were both excellent in helping me to make the correct choice for my needs. They were very courteous and very well informed and were able to answer all my questions. The car was delivered on time and I am now enjoying driving it. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the personal service both Cheri and JR gave me, and how assured I felt after dealing with them. Of the several dealerships worked with, this was the ONLY one that wasn't selling hard, and actually wanted to find the specific car I was looking for. Every other dealership tried very hard to get me in with "almost" cars that in fact were missing things that had been specified as required, and pushed hard to change my mind about what I wanted. In contrast, Joey G worked hard to do the work for me, to search and find the car that precisely fit my specs.

The only things that are not perfect with the car are my fault for not understanding better how to describe what I wanted: I wanted a trailer hitch, and didn't realize I needed to also specify having a ball; I wanted a navigation system, and got the On star but didn't realize I needed to be specific that I wanted the GM navigation system with the map etc. But they have bent over backwards to correct these, and have been a total pleasure to deal with.

My wife and I bought a gently used '09 Chevy TrailBlazer (fully loaded) that we found on AutoTrader.com. Ray worked with us on the test drives and the paperwork process while Darric was the sales manager who pulled no punches and was brutally honest with the pricing (we made a deal pretty quickly). Cheri, as the Internet sales manager, was excellent establishing the first lines of communication and actually brought us into the dealership after facilitating an appointment to see this vehicle and one other. Keith quickly processed the financing paperwork and got us out the door. These guys are all about solutions. The vehicle was missing a navidation CD - solved. The manual was missing - also solved. Car was detailed on the spot and were driving to lunch less than three hours after stepping through the door. A fantastic experience and we will probably return for our next Chevy even though they're over an hour's drive from where we live!
