- EXAMPLE I: "Check Engine" light illuminates, your vehicle may email you telling you your gas cap may be loose, saving you a trip to the service department.
- EXAMPLE II: It will tell you the exact pressure in each of your tires and life expectancy of your oil every month in a health update.
- EXAMPLE III: A recall is announced on your vehicle, an email will be sent to you and the dealership instantly.

Follow the steps below to activate your Vehicle Diagnostic and Dealer Maintenance Notification options.
- Press the Blue Button on your OnStar.
- When the operator answers, say: "I would like to be enrolled in Vehicle Diagnostic emails and opt in to Dealer Maintenance Notifications".
- Provide your email address and dealership name, Hawthorne Chevrolet.
- Sate at the end of the conversation to confirm, "So to confirm I am enrolled in Vehicle Diagnostic emails and Dealer Maintenance Notifications".
That's it. It should take less than 5 minutes. just another added value from Chevrolet and Hawthorne Chevrolet!
