The engine lineup has been streamlined: all models now come standard with the TurboMax I4 engine. Other changes include new paint colors (Reef Blue Metallic and Sunrise Orange), which replace three discontinued colors. The WT and Trail Boss trims add a standard sliding rear window, rear defroster, and cruise control.
The Chevy Colorado is available in five unique trims:
At the heart of the Colorado beats a formidable 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine. Known as the TurboMax, this powerplant generates an impressive 310 horsepower and a staggering 430 pound-feet of torque. The responsive turbocharger and direct gasoline injection system ensure you have ample power on demand, whether merging onto the highway or conquering challenging terrain.
The TurboMax pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission for smooth acceleration. You can choose between standard rear-wheel drive and standard four-wheel drive.
Inside the Colorado's refined cab, an 11.3-inch diagonal color touchscreen takes center stage. Far more than just a display, this system boasts Google built-in services, enabling seamless access to Google Maps navigation, natural voice recognition, numerous in-vehicle apps, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration.
Staying connected is effortless thanks to the Colorado's standard Wi-Fi hotspot capability. You can also opt for the Technology Package, which adds adaptive cruise control, HD surround vision cameras, a Bose seven-speaker premium audio system, and more to select trims. No matter where your travels take you, the Colorado keeps you linked to your digital world.
Your peace of mind is a top priority in the Chevrolet Colorado. Every trim comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, a comprehensive suite of six advanced driver assistance technologies:
Additional standard safety features include a rear vision camera, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and six airbags. Together, these protective measures boost your confidence behind the wheel, whether navigating city streets or cruising open highways.
Need to tow a boat, trailer, or heavy equipment? The Colorado has you covered. When properly equipped, this capable truck can tow up to 7,700 pounds. An available heavy-duty towing package includes an integrated trailer brake controller, a trailer hitch, and a seven-pin wiring harness for hassle-free hookups.
The Colorado's versatile pickup bed is ready to handle all your cargo needs. The WT and LT's five-foot, two-inch short box or the Z71, ZR2, and Trail Boss's five-foot, 10-inch standard box both provide ample room for tools, gear, and materials. Available LED cargo area lighting, 12 fixed tie-downs, and an EZ Lift & Lower tailgate streamline loading and unloading tasks.
