The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV has a new design and styling beyond the new powertrain. It has a longer wheelbase and longer overall length when compared to the gasoline model. This translates into more interior space for passengers and cargo. The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will have limited availability starting fall 2023, with the full lineup available in spring 2024 near Little Falls.
Performance
The Equinox is powered by two battery sizes, depending on your chosen trim. The entry-level trim offers a smaller battery, with larger ones available as you move through the trim levels. You can choose from front-wheel drive models that offer 210 horsepower and all-wheel drive models that offer 290 horsepower. This Equinox EV has quick acceleration and can tow up to 1,500 pounds.
Interior and Exterior Features
On the outside, the Equinox EV is refined and has a futuristic feel. It features walk-up lighting and a unique headlamp design that gives it a wide stance. The bold appearance of the Equinox on the outside corresponds with the attention to detail on the interior. The interior is roomy and made with high-end materials.
Range and Charging
The entry-level trim is expected to offer around 250 miles of range. Depending on the trim you choose, you can expect between 280 to 300 miles in range on the mid to upper-range trims near Paramus. This EV offers a range of charging options. With a DC fast charger, you can charge up to 70 miles of range in 10 minutes. It also comes with a 19.2-kilowatt onboard charger on the upper trims. Regen on Demand and One Pedal Driving also send power to the battery when enabled.
You can install a 120-volt Level one or 240-volt Level two charger in your home. The Navigation system makes it easy to find charging stations when you are on the go.
Technology Features
Aside from the advanced powertrain, the Equinox EV will offer GM Super Cruise, which offers hands-free driving on many equipped highways in the United States. Another unique high-tech feature is that the Equinox will automatically start when you have your key fob. All you do is put it into drive and go. It also offers wireless charging and the Ultifi software platform that personalizes your vehicle how you like.
Safety and Trims Levels

It comes with Chevrolet Safety Assist, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a forward collision alert, and a lane keep assist.
