Style and Appearance

The new Chevy Colorado arrives in two different body styles: a crew cab design and an extended cab layout. You can get either a short bed or a long bed depending on the cab design that you choose, which also influences how much storage capacity the truck will hold. Consider the Z71 that comes with a suspension system tuned for off-road driving and standard all-terrain tires. Higher-end trims also have distinctive fender flares and a spray-in bed liner.

Power and Performance

The Colorado can come configured with a few different engines. The base engine is a 3.6-liter engine with six cylinders. It has a peak power output of 308 horsepower, and it gets up to 275 pound-feet in torque. You will get an automatic eight-speed transmission with the base engine. You also have the option of getting a diesel engine for your truck instead. The diesel engine is a turbo engine with four cylinders and a 2.8-liter displacement. The truck will get about 181 horsepower with the diesel engine, and its maximum torque output reaches about 370 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission comes with this model.The Chevy Colorado has standard rear-wheel drive on most trim levels, while four-wheel drive is available for superior performance on the roads of Clifton. The Colorado has a maximum tow rating of 7,000 pounds with the gasoline engine, which is above average compared to other trucks in its class, and it has a peak tow rating of 7,700 pounds if you get the diesel engine.
